The amateur radio services are for qualified persons of any age who are interested in radio technique solely with a personal aim and without pecuniary interest. These servicespresent an opportunity for self-training, intercommunication, and technical investigations.
The ULS License Search enables you to search for a wide range of combinations in the Amateur service. You can also specify more attributes combinations using the Advanced Search. FCC Universal Licensing System FCC’s Universal Licensing System (ULS) is an easy secure online way to renew your amateur radio license. It contains everything you will need for electronic filing. If you prefer to use the paper method use the NCVEC Form 605 and send it to the GEARS VEC, see the VEC link for information. This form is to be used for new license applications and upgrades, license renewals and address, and systematic call sign changes. Submit this form to the GEARS VEC. Do not sent this form to the FCC.
